Terms of Service

Last updated May 20, 2026.

Agreement

Kudos is a free, personal hobby project operated by Rico Ordonio. By creating a board, posting a card, or otherwise using Kudos, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The service

Kudos lets you create shared group greeting cards and collect messages from others. It is provided free of charge, as a personal project, with no guarantee of availability, uptime, or support. Features may change or be removed at any time.

Acceptable use

When you use Kudos, you agree not to:

  • post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, or infringing on someone else's rights;
  • upload images or other media you do not have the right to share;
  • add a person's email address as a board recipient without a reasonable basis to contact them;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its data.

Kudos applies a basic profanity filter, but you are responsible for the content you post.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting it, you grant Kudos permission to store and display that content within the app so the board works as intended. You are responsible for having the right to post anything you upload or share.

Content moderation and removal

The operator may remove any board, card, or content, and may suspend or discontinue the service, at any time and without notice. Boards may also be removed automatically as described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty

Kudos is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. The operator does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content will be preserved.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for any loss of data, loss of content, or other damages arising from your use of Kudos.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will change when they do. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.
